Built to Last

Remember when craftsmen made things that were built to last? Sure, those boots from China are cheaper, but they’re nowhere near the quality and you’ll be replacing them much sooner than ones handmade by an old school shoemaker. I surmise that a lot of people miss owning and taking care of things that were built to last as they were not only made from premium materials in the first place, but could be repaired and mended should they get damaged. There’s probably no going back at this point, but it’s nice to think that we can, perhaps in some areas…
