Tune in Tokyo

A friend’s dad had this demure, yet creepy old doll sitting off to the side of his workbench for years, and one day while working on our bikes, I asked about it. My buddy lifts her dress and reveals that she was not only a radio, but that you literally had to work her nipples to turn her on and tune in the stations. I guess it wasn’t allowed in the house, but dad refused to get rid of it and now I can totally understand why.
