It’s Buddy Miles hanging out with Jimi Hendrix and his Lucky Lager at the Monterey Pop Festival, back in 1967. George Allen “Buddy” Miles Jr. was a founding member of The Electric Flag (1967), and a member of Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsys (1969–1970). He was also the founder and leader of the Buddy Miles Express and, later, the Buddy Miles Band. Not that playing and recording with Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, and Mike Bloomfield, (among other music legends) isn’t beyond awesome accomplishments, but he was also the lead vocals on the “California Raisins” claymation TV commercials.
