The Original Boars Nest in Oxford, Georgia

The original Boars Nest used in the Georgia episodes of The Dukes of Hazzard is located at 290 Flat Rock Road, Oxford, Georgia. Today it’s a church, but before the building was used in The Dukes of Hazzard, it was the private hangout for a local motorcycle club. The gas pump island seen in the parking lot was part of the original property, and dates back to the early 1950s. Unfortunately, it was removed at some point and likely junked. The Boars Nest sign, according to lore, was removed and transported to California when The Dukes of Hazzard filming was relocated. H/T>
