Remember The Time A Giant Eddie Murphy Head Toured America?

No? Well, don’t feel too bad, as most people don’t. It was a promotional tour for Eddie Murphy’s rather unremarkable 2008 sci-fi comedy flick, Meet Dave. This was at a time when the iPhone had just been released, and we were on the cusp of social media transitioning to more of a real time endeavor, so if you did see this thing, it was most likely on a show like Entertainment Tonight or even the local news if Eddie’s big head graced your town. But I digress. Let’s get back to Eddie’s 3,000 pound, 20 foot tall head, shall we?

We all know the limits of our collective pop-culture attention span. But sometimes things are so weird and epic that they stick with you. Perhaps to an obsessive degree.
