“Get in the Golden Mood with the beer that’s Golden Brewed!” This ad for Gunther Beer was found in a 1955 Baltimore Colts vs. Redskins program. Baltimore was crazy for their hometown brew which made Gunther a success story generations in the making that would only be undone by a businessman named Theodore Hamm who thought he could make the locals like his beer more after buying the Gunther Brewery…. it only took him three years to figure out that he was wrong.
