Dick’s Auto Wrecking was located near the entrance to Summit Park in Clarksburg, West Virginia, where U.S. 50 now runs. Early wrecking yards were less than customer friendly, so it’s quite clear that Dick made efforts to run a clean operation with all of his inventory in nice, orderly rows for easy access, or at least that is what we can see from this old shot of the yard >
