Delta Kream drive-in

This shot of an Oldsmobile Cutlass in front of the old Delta Kream in Tunica, Mississippi was used on the cover of the 10th studio album of the same name from blues-rock duo, The Black Keys. The Delta Kream drive-in opened in 1959 at 1440 US Hwy 61 North in Tunica, and was in business for about three decades before closing up shop in 1991. The drive-in has long since been torn down and the property is now home to a dollar store, but thanks to Southern photographer, William Eggleston, we have this amazing shot archiving the Delta Kream drive-in for eternity.
