Forgotten American Muscle: The Ford Maverick

The Ford Maverick, when properly equipped, was pretty kick ass. But, as always, a bit of background info for you: The Mustang, as just about everyone knows, was a smash hit for Ford when it hit the market in the middle of 1964. You can thank Ford’s Lee Iacocca for making it happen. The car checked all the right boxes (good looks, affordable, etc) and, when powered by a V8, was a serious performance machine.
