Real life Tamiya Sand Scorcher Baja Bug

We love Baja Bugs and RC cars around here, so a real life Tamiya Sand Scorcher checks all the boxes. The Tamiya Sand Scorcher was the sixteenth 1/10-scale electric radio-controlled car kit released by Tamiya on December 15, 1979.  Its high level of detail and realism make it one of the most sought-after vintage R/C models today, but thankfully for those of us that either never got a hold of one, or let ours go at some point, Tamiya has been keeping re-release versions on the market. Of course, real Baja Bugs are the tits, but take up a lot more space, so if you aren’t in a position to own the real deal, why not get an RC version?
