What Happened to the Hippies?

I like to keep a level of distance between myself and Stream of Social Conscience. For me, it’s a level of emotional shyness, and also a way of protecting myself, from not basing my self-worth off of likes and follows, and instead remembering why I even do this. But I was scrolling through my socials, and like I usually do, was thinking about something I wanted to talk about. I wanted to maybe write an article about the anti-war movement, about the repression of students, and imperialism. These are topics that were interesting me, at the moment.
