Escondido’s Whirlin’ Wheels Skateboard Park

Whirlin’ Wheels Skateboard Park was located in Escondido, California at Felicita and Centre City Parkway during the height of the ’70s skateboarding craze. Compared to other skateboard parks of the era, Whirlin’ Wheels was pretty basic in its offerings and as such, didn’t stick around nearly as long as some larger parks with more skating terrain and diverse entertainment options did.
