Falcon Transport was founded in 1903 with a single horse and wagon in Youngstown, Ohio. The firm grew to become a major service provider for American steel mills, Detroit automakers, and hauling general commodities for some of America’s largest companies. Falcon was handed down and managed through four generations of family ownership before being sold in 2017, but not two years later, the company became insolvent, ending a 116-year run as one of America’s trucking greats.
