From Jules Verne to Artemis II

So, humans flew around the Moon for the first time in over fifty years last month. You may have heard. Whether you’re the type of space fan who follows launch schedules closely and has been waiting for years to watch the Artemis II mission, or you were one of the many people who didn’t even know it was happening until you caught a glimpse of the first launch video on your feed, you probably noticed the brief but intense period of joy and excitement surrounding the mission. I spend most of my time working on projects based on getting people interested in space, and even I was surprised by how thoroughly the Artemis II coverage spread through both my online and real-life networks, far beyond my space nerd friends and colleagues.
