Redneck Reclamation

When I was a kid, I had a friend named Kenny. Kenny was a gangly Melungeon boy with a rat tail that hung down between his shoulder blades. Ten year old me was convinced I was going to marry this boy since the expectation for girls in my area was to get married as soon as possible and that fantasy was well placed in my head even at that age.
