The iconic “Welcome to Twin Peaks” sign from David Lynch’s cult television series originally stood along SE Reinig Road in Snoqualmie, Washington, where it welcomed viewers to the fictional town of Twin Peaks. Unfortunately, the permanent city-installed replica at the original filming location is no longer displayed full-time, thanks to repeated thefts, vandalism, and other headaches caused by jerks who just can’t leave nice things alone. However, the City of Snoqualmie still brings a full-size version of the sign back to its original rural setting every February 24 for Twin Peaks Day, giving fans a chance to snap photos and celebrate the show. For those making the pilgrimage any other time of year, a permanent replica can be found outside Jeff Warren’s State Farm office at 8429 Falls Avenue SE in downtown Snoqualmie. The original filming location is near 41433–41471 SE Reinig Road (47.525452, -121.785446).
