Wagon Wednesday: 1968 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon

This time capsule of a wagon sold in 2019, but is still worth taking a look at as these were truly the epitome of full-size station wagons in America.

This 1968 Chevrolet Caprice wagon shows just 21k miles and is powered by a 396ci V8 paired with a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. The car was sold new by G.K. Chevrolet of Downers Grove, Illinois, and was reportedly retained by the original owner until 2017 before being acquired by the current owner in 2018.

This Caprice is now offered at no reserve on behalf of the current owner in New Jersey with its original inspection report, sales invoice, Protect-O-Plate, owner’s manuals, handwritten maintenance notes, and a clean Illinois title.
