The Carpenters: Powered by Bear

Fun Fact: The Carpenter’s tour van in ’71 was hand-lettered by Ed “Big Daddy” Roth back when he was a sign painter at Knotts Berry Farm. For those who are interested, the “Powered by Bear” on the door referred to their road manager, who drove the van that carried their equipment. Mark Rudolph was his name and he was apparently went by Bear, but he wasn’t just the road manager, he was also Karen and Richard’s first cousin.
