Sidewalk Surfing

Sidewalk Surfpark opened its doors to sidewalk surfing enthusiasts in 1977 in Tempe, Arizona right next to Big Surf waterpark. This two-acre skatepark was a full-service facility with multiple bowls and waves forms, plus a skate shop, concessions, and arcade. Given its rather close proximity to ASU, it was a popular spot for college kids as well as younger skaters looking to ride the wave.
